With paved patios on both sides of the house, you can always find a sheltered spot. The outdoor areas have a gas grill, outdoor furniture and a "Chimenea" outdoor fireplace. Two beaches close by, one to the north and one to the south. Great hiking areas nearby; from the garden, a path goes straight onto the Coastal Path, a marked hiking trail along the sea. Kjerrringvik is an old customs port with buildings dating back to the 18th century. Located at the far end of the fjord, the water is crystal clear. Beautiful archipelago with islands where you can go ashore and spend the night in a tent or under the open sky. On Martaholmen, a short boat trip from the harbor, there is a great beach and cliffs. Eastward on the island, you come to “The Dancing Floor”, a large stone plateau where the locals used to have dance parties in the old days.
