The homeowner's angora goats sometimes graze in the meadows outside the plot. Deer often appear at dusk. Not far from the cottage (3 km) is Hammarö Golf Club, which is a popular golf facility. For those who want to run for exercise in nature or work out at an outdoor gym, Kilenegården's open-air facility 1 km away is recommended.
